The Tri-Cameral Mind
We Elves, have what is known in scientific circles, as a Bathrocranic Skull, containing three very active brains. As these three brains seem to function independently of each other, we think of ourselves as multiple entities... ‘Me’... ‘Myself’... and ‘I’. ‘Me’ is my BackBrain or Cerebellum... where all my Tribal Memories are stored. ‘Myself’ is my RightBrain, the right side of my Cerebrum... the sensing, feeling, artistic, magickal part of me, that enable me to do things without having to think about it. ‘I’ is my LeftBrain, the left side of my Cerebrum... that is very logical, and just loves to think about everything. It also loves to criticise ‘Myself’ for going ahead and creating magickal results without the need to study the problem first. ‘Me’ has a photographic memory of everything important that has happened to our Elfin Tribe, since the so-called Ice Age. However there is no sound-track. This means we can observe and understand what is going on, like a video, but we have no idea of the language or words being used. So whenever information is needed has to interpret the pictures and ‘I’ tried to put this interpretation into modern words. So that the LeftBrain people who form 80% of the modern population can understand. We Elves are predominately RightBrained, so, although we can talk this sort of information quite easily, when it comes to writing it down for people to read; our poor spelling skills let us down, and we have to check our dictionaries all the time. Writing the above took me over an hour... but I do hope it makes sense to you. Your opinion would help me to improve me technique.
